MDCFUG Lunch

March 10, 2008 By Michaela Light Leave a Comment

We, as Maryland ColdFusion Users, have not been acting like a real group. While TeraTech holds monthly meetings at our offices in Rockville every second Tuesday of the month, some people live to far away to schlep all the way out here, or are just too tired to do so in the evenings. It's time to change things.

Announcing ColdFusion Lunch! For all of those who live in the surrounding areas, TeraTech will be setting up informal monthly lunches for local ColdFusion users to network and discuss (what else?) ColdFusion. These lunches will be entirely free (everyone pays for their own lunch) and are a great way to relate with people who are doing the same things you are. Our first lunch will be located at Cosi in downtown D.C. (on the corner of 17th and Pennsylvania, about 3 blocks from Farragut West Metro on the Blue/Orange lines) on a day later this month, yet to be determined. Email me(matt@teratech.com) to let me know if you're interested, and I'll make sure to keep you posted as to when the official day and time are announced.

For those unable to make it to THAT location, we are working on setting up lunches at different locations as well, (possibly North Virginia, Bethesda, other parts of D.C., etc). If you have an interest in coming to a lunch near you, let me know where you work, and we can work on setting up a lunch that people around YOUR area can meet for lunch, too. Email me (matt@teratech.com) to let me know what you think. Can't wait to see you there!
